Be yourself. We’ll do the rest.

Helping you tell your story with verve – on paper or in person.

Bad news first. you're not entitled to anyone's attention.

But here’s the good news: you can earn and maintain it.

If you want to stand out in an era of mass-produced AI prose, the craft of authentic self-expression is what will give you an edge.

You see, we’re those uncommon friends who are always in your corner, but will always tell you the truth.

uncommon friends is a boutique ghostwriting and storytelling studio that’s here to make you and your ideas worthy of other people’s time.

What we do

Why we’re… different

We come from books and magazines, not comms and marketing

We live and breathe structure, style and storytelling

We have deep and diverse intellectual interests

We know how to make audiences care

We like nuance and complexity

We’re playful but rigorous

And who are we?
